This week we've had Cultural Week - we have been learning about Africa. We've learnt these facts:
Africa is a continent.
It has lots of different countries.
One country is Kenya.
The capital of Kenya is Nairobi.
In Africa, people go to markets to buy and sell food.
In Africa, you might see giraffes, elephants or hippos.
We've had lots of fun doing some great activities:
We painted sunsets and cut out animals to stick on.
We really enjoyed the African dancing with Michael.
We made colourful necklaces.
We listened to African music and drew what the music made us think of.
We made colourful Ndembele houses.
We enjoyed sharing our work with everyone in celebration assembly.
Our half term Home Learning is the FORIS Autumn Challenge to fill a matchbox...
Grace has been given the Star Award this week for always following the class rules and for being independent. Well done, Grace!
Have a great half term holiday everyone.
